Goals
I set goals multiple times a year. I just set my goals for the next 4 months.
Physical Health
Goal: Drop to 178 and then average a weight of 178 to 183. If you know me you know I like to run but running isn't enough anymore. I have to eat right. Eating is putting weight on me. I am not big but I am not where I was. I am super sensitive to doing all I can to stay healthy. I don't want to die young because of something I did. I want to do everything I can do and then let God handle the results of my life. All I know is this... Most people I know that work out feel better about themselves. So I am adding in the working out part of exercise. I came to GA weighing 205. I dropped to 175. Now I am right at 190. I am going to work my butt off to get to 178! I am running a marathon in 4 weeks so that should jump start my weight loss.
Anyone else trying to get healthy physically?

Very cool on the marathon! And, yes, working on the healthy...it's all about the routine and discipline...

Oh yeah! I decided that a few months back that it was time to get serious about taking better care of myself. I have never had a complete physical as an adult, so I am having one this Friday. I had some blood work done first and my cholesterol is way too high. Scary stuff knowing now after my mom's heart attack. Also I went to one of my back doctors because I've been having a lot of pain again, not good news. I won't go into the details, but basically I've got to lose weight and strengthen my core muscles, or I'm looking at some more surgery. I DO NOT want anymore surgery!
